Our state's 'stay at home' suggestion is simply not working! Unfortunately, a lot of people still are not taking this disease seriously. If you doubt this, visit your local garden shop or hardware store. You will see hundreds of people, including families with small children, congregating there in mass on weekends. Visit a park on a warm day, kids are everywhere. Even at essential businesses, people are ignoring social distancing rules and hanging out.

We have to act now! We need to mandate that all citizens shelter in place. Arkansas is one of the few states not demanding that everyone follow the rules. I love my state, but I feel like we are falling behind once again. I know Governor Asa Hutchinson is worried about the economy, but we won't have any businesses to come back to if we don't change something soon. The Governor says we don't need to have a lockdown because the number of cases/infections is not widespread. The truth is, there isn't enough testing, so we don't have accurate numbers. The virus is here!
