Rev'd Up Arkansas started this petition to Governor Asa Hutchinson and

To - Governor Asa Hutchison / Secretary of Health José R. Romero / Arkansas General Assembly

As we all now know, Covid 19 has not had the impact projected by health officials across the nation.

In Arkansas, only 3% of the population has been infected with a virus that has a 1.5% death rate in the State.

Meanwhile, our business have been shut down or extremely regulated. Our children continue to suffer daily under this "mask mandate" and our God given freedom to live our lives as WE see fit has been stripped from us under the Governor's State of Emergency declaration.

We the People of Arkansas can see for ourselves that this is NOT an emergency and we demand our freedom to choose our own course of action for ourselves and our families

As stated by Secretary of Health José R. Romero on September 15th 2020, masks will not prevent sick people from spreading the virus nor will they prevent healthy people from contracting the virus.

Florida and Tennessee have already lifted all restrictions, opening their states up completely

We, the signers of this petition, being residents of the state of Arkansas, demand the immediate termination of the State of Emergency declaration as well as the Executive Order 20_43 also known as the State Mask Mandate and completely reopen Arkansas by lifting all Covid-19 restrictions.

In the event that Governor Asa Hutchison and/or José R. Romero fails or refuses to comply with the demands of the people of Arkansas, we would demand the Arkansas General Assembly to act in accordance with our wishes, as elected Representatives are charged with, and terminate these immoral and unconstitutional actions listed.
