I am submitting this Petition on behalf of Albert Reed whom was a 23 year old  highly intoxicated man at the time of his crime. He has been incarcerated for 20 years now. In his 20 years of Incarceration he has completed numerous self help groups. Albert has become a mentor of the (U.N.I.T.Y.) Organization which stands for  "You aNd I helping Teen Youth" it is a gang intervention program that's aimed at changing a man's perception on life. Albert at the time he became a mentor denounced his gang ties and affiliation. Albert is asking for another chance at life to show that people can change. Especially when they go in as young a young lost man. Albert takes full responsibility for his crime. He's apologized and also admits that he let pride get the best of him.Today Albert is a Man who has learned the error of his ways. Which was not easy but it has humbled him. Albert has family that truly love him and desire to see him home. The solution Albert is asking for is for his sentence to be reduced or a clemency. Albert has served a good portion of his time. LWOP sentences are the forgotten. #ENDLWOP
