This is just for a school project, but climate change is a very serious issue that we face today. We don't have a lot of time to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions before it is too late and the consequences that result from climate change become irreversible. This will cause global temperatures to rise, which will cause sea levels to rise, and that can cause even more problems. We are already in the middle of the sixth mass extinction, and humans are playing a large part in causing and continuing it. This is due to greenhouse gas emissions, which are causing the Earth to get warmer, which is causing glaciers to melt, which causes things like rise in sea level and habitat loss. Many species, such as polar bears, have taken a hard hit and have lost their habitats and sources of food. This might not seem like a big problem where you live, but it is going to be a much bigger problem once this starts negatively affecting more humans. People in poorer countries and areas more susceptible to flooding are already being negatively affected by the consequences of human-caused climate change, and it won't be long until the rest of the world experiences that as well if we are unable to find a solution to what we have caused.
