With huge respect, I want to convey that there are arround 23000 guest teachers who have been teaching around 10 lakh students of Delhi government schools for 11 years. These teachers are putting same efforts as regular teachers. A regular teacher gets  salary at an average Rs 70,000 per month with all other benefits. On the other hand, Guest Teachers get Rs1350 to Rs1445 per attendance on daily wage basis. Moreover, no Casual leave, no leave for any festival and other benefits are provided to them. Also winter vacations & summer vacations are not admissible. This is against the principal of fundamental equality. There must be atleast basic pay plus DA as fix salary and 8 Casual Leaves per session. Please look into this matter as the matter concerns 23,000 guest teachers and there families. We with our families will appreciate your action in the well being of guest teachers as the welfare of teachers is key to the development of students and therefore our proud nation.
