Vishnuvardhan Batabyal started this petition to Arvind Kejriwal (Chief Minister of Delhi) and

I write this petition as a concerned citizen and student of this country. I along with other citizens am deeply concerned with the increasing level of air pollution in our country which can evidently he seen by all of us as we look towards the morning, afternoon and evening skies.

I noticed that extremely few parties (close to none) had mentioned their  solutions to climate change and pollution of natural resources. The present governments are playing a somewhat blame game whenever asked or questioned about this state. However, this is not the time to simply act clueless and do what should have been done a long time ago.

There should be at least 2 hours of school time devoted a week to the nature, where students can plant saplings, environment experts and activists can be brought to the schools to discuss the gravity of the issue at hand, and students can be given space and time to write down or discuss their thoughts about the issue and present their respective solutions.

Greta Thunberg was compelled to leave her school and protest against the climate change because people around her did not understand the magnitude of the situation at hand and it is a pleasure to see that her movement has been going successfully. If the suggestion given earlier is initiated, students would gain a deeper knowledge about how to control The situation at hand and hopefully send a positive message to the society by being the change they would want to see.
