The present scale of medical and dental interns in Delhi is 23,500/-. However, 

 BDS interns at MAIDS (MAULANA AZAD INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES)( which is the best dental institute in India), are still receiving a minimal stipend 8,900/month, which is lesser than a daily wage worker.

BDS interns’ stipend in MAIDS has not been revised since 2003. As a result, even after working for long hours in OPD, treating patients, they are not able to meet their basic expenses on their own.

A dentist takes care of public’s  smile and happiness, but they have lost their own smile. 

We request you all to support us in this matter which has been constantly ignored by the politicians since 16 long years.
