Some journeys take longer than others. And so here we are bearing the victory torch a year after our campaign #Taxfreewings. I am elated to share with you that the Central Government has agreed to exempt tax on sanitary napkins after a year long opposition. This is monumental in the step towards improving the accessibility, availability and affordability of the product to millions of women. This victory is each one of ours and I am thrilled to have had the support of over 4 lakh citizens to achieve this feat.
