Introduce unemployment benefit for the 3% of tax paying citizens of India.

This pertains to the 3% of the tax paying working class. The least we should expect in return for the taxes paid on our salaries is some kind of unemployment benefit in case we lose our jobs. When we can contribute to the overall development of the country, is it too much to ask the government to take care of us in times of need? As Automation and Artificial Intelligence take over most of the jobs, the immediate impact will be felt by tens of thousands of people who work in the BPOs, KPOs or in general offshoring or outsourcing centers. The impact will be much higher for people who are in their 40s and 50s as it may not be easy for this group to acquire new skill set and race with the changing technology. Just think about the disruption this may cause to their families - Especially those with single working parent or a son or a daughter providing for the entire family with school or college going kids or siblings, old, ill dependent parents and grandparents, and or may be a sick spouse. The family will be shattered and distraught putting the future of the children in jeopardy. That said, all I am proposing is a way to protect those sincere workers (and their families) who for no fault of theirs, lose their jobs to technology or otherwise. People who have sincerely paid taxes for 10years or more should be given monetary support for a minimum of 3years or more on a pro rata basis until they find another job or another means to survive, whichever happens first. The amount paid to the individual should be decent enough so they can continue living a dignified life.

I urge the tax paying working class and their families to sign this petition so no family suffers the brunt of the capitalist system and we get some benefit for paying 30% of our salaries to the government year after year.
