Recently the Arrowhead Lake Association Board of Directors had a board meeting on January 22nd 2022 & approved $40,000 for fishing dock & $15,000 for stocking the lake with fish. Totaling $55,000. They approved adding a new amenity meanwhile areas of the park are dangerous & not safe. In particular the playground equipment. It was installed in the mid 1990s & has not been replaced since. All the paint is peeling. The word F*ck covers the center of the slide. There are gaps in the slide equipment & it pinches children when they slide down. The climbing ladder is loose, causing children to slip & fall. The rubber on the chains of the swings are almost non existent. With several young families moving to the mountain & very little playgrounds, we are requesting ALA Board of Directors redirect $55,000 from dock/fishing fund to funding replacement of playground equipment.
