Arriva - a company contracted to provide public transport to West Yorkshire - have advised residents of South Hiendley that they are ceasing the evening service of the 195 route which passes through South Hiendley.

A cessation of this service will have great impact on residents, business’s, hospitality and social activities not only in South Hiendley but further afield. Residents will have to walk almost a mile to get a bus - this is unsafe and leaves elderly, vulnerable and disabled people effectively stranded and residents unable to access public transport.

This is unacceptable and Arriva should halt their plans to axe this service. By signing this petition you can show Arriva that you are unhappy that they are axing a public service .
