The Declaration of Independence says: "We hold these truths to be self evident . that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by God with certain unalienable rights..." The First Amendment does not separate God and government but actually encourages religion. 1962 was a bad year, it was the year the Supreme Court decided to take God and prayer out of the schools. Each day students would start their day with prayer. Our Pledge of Allegiance says one Nation under God, Our currency says In God we trust, how do we live in a country that lives by this but wont allow it in our most strong and future assets, Our children. They are the future Generation. They are the next leaders of this world. Its not about religion, its about worshiping and praising the one God all mighty. This world would be a better place if we all could be like God and help see each other through instead of seeing through each other. We never learn real life skills in school, challenges that we will face in the real world. Knowing they can turn to Jesus for answers and peace will help them so much. The next generation we are raising could be the ones to change the world. Faith in humanity could be restored. God brought us into this world to do his work, to stop the violence, the bullying, the drug use, the division among races. If not me, why not you? We have a National Day of prayer for a reason, help me get God back in our schools.
