Ban election posters on lampposts in Northern Ireland
This petition had 28 supporters
Election posters in Northern Ireland are an eyesore. They are put up weeks in advance of elections and are left up for months after the election has taken place.
Do they really serve any purpose? Most people will not be influenced by looking at a photo of a politician & the name of the party - if they want to find out about those running in their area, they can look them up online.
Politicians - please legislate against the use of these election posters, as is the case in the rest of the UK.
