Make public school employees' insurance costs comparable to state workers
Arkansas public school employees are facing a sharp increase in health care premiums, while state employees enjoy the same plans at a fraction of the cost. A public school employee will soon have to pay over $1,500 a month for family coverage whereas a state employee will receive the same coverage for around $400 monthly.
Public school employees have been subjected to huge increases in premiums over the years while hearing excuses from state legislatures why it's possible to provide relief to state workers but not school employees. It's time to even things out on this issue!
Please sign this petition to show the lawmakers and the EBD that Arkansas teachers and other school employees are no longer going to be victimized on this matter.
