Support Equal Access for Arkansas Students

This legislative session a tax-credit scholarship bill will be introduced. If passed, this bill will provide families, with eligible students, the opportunity to choose how their student receives the best education. The program would offer a variety of education services such as; tutoring, special-ed therapies, private school tuition and career or technical courses. The program will be available for students with disabilities, foster children, low-income and military dependents.
The key to choosing the right education for your child has far more to do with your child than it does the school building. For many Arkansas students school choice is the difference between breaking the cycle of poverty and having a future with the ability to support their own family, or not being able to better themselves and reach their full potential. Many of our families do not have the financial means to provide the educational resources their children need to be successful on their K-12 journey.
While the majority of Arkansas families find their zoned public school meets the needs of their child, some of our most vulnerable and at-risk students' needs go beyond what is offered putting a hardship on their family, over burdening our teachers, and distressing our communities.
Arkansas students need your help!
By signing this petition, you are telling your state representatives that you support equal access to a quality education for EVERY Arkansas student, and not just those who can afford the extra education services.
