Water is a necessity of life. Every citizen has the right to clean, poison free water. They have the right to vote with regard to addition of fluoride or any chemical to their water supply.

When Arkansas lawmakers passed Bill 359 which mandated the addition of Fluoride, a known neurotoxin, to water supplies statewide without regard to previous ballot votes by citizens against that addition, they violated civil and constitutional rights.

This petition exists in hope that we can reverse the damage done by lawmakers who presumed to decide for an entire state what is best for their health and well-being and once again place that decision back into the hands of Arkansas voters.

Fluoride is considered a medication by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and requires a doctor's prescription. It is unlawful to add any medication to any person's water without their express and informed consent.

Fluoride causes Iodine deficiency which can lead to hypothyroidism and over 300 symptoms. Since being exposed to Fluoride I have suffered from hypothyroidism and spontaneous tendon ruptures. 

Many prescription and over-the-counter drugs contain Fluoride which, when combined with use of fluoride dental products and fluoridated water can lead to toxic and even lethal levels for certain people, especially those with decreased liver or kidney function. The elderly and children are the most susceptible to toxicity.
