Let’s get one thing straight. ASU is a fantastic school and one of the most innovative. However, I feel like my education falls short because of the very short 7.5 week classes. To be quite honest I hardly ever fully read my textbook in these short classes because there isn’t enough time. Some classes I didn’t even read the textbook at all. 16 week classes give online students time to slow down, read what is required and take the time necessary to complete hard assignments like research papers. After all online students have very busy lives.

I know ASU offers c terms but most classes are either A or B terms that are 7.5 weeks. this needs to change. Students will still be able to achieve a degree in 4 years if all classes were 16 weeks instead of 7.5. ASU needs to change this so students actually comprehend material and get an actual education!!
