the people that have sign on this document are speaking out and asking the courts to reconsider the bounds within the governor’s authority. We feel that Governor Doug Ducey has over stepped his authority in removing what had been made into law by the United States Federal Government. We believe that this county is a democracy, we are proud to remember on this July 4th 2021. in the midst of politics, 2020 and all that came with it, Understandably, the governor has forgotten that we the people of Arizona collectively elected him into office so he could have a say and a vote. I do believe Governor Ducey did vote at the White House in regards to his understanding of the voice of the people.

We are here today to remind Governor Ducey of this fact, he voted against the boost; however the vote passed and millions of people that have been economically ambushed by this pandemic, the ability to afford food and pay their bills. The federal boost was passed to last until no earlier than September 9th 2021. The Governor has no right to dissolve the benefits people were using to survive.

Furthermore to use the money to his discretion and not pay it back to the treasury is unacceptable. This money is from the tax payers or to be a burned on the tax payers. This was not a donation this is the people’s money and they need it till the pandemic is over or they find suitable work.
