Stand up for students, fund public education!

  • Invest in the future of our students by investing in public education
  • Invest in public education now to gain leader's for the future
  • Support strong public education, where ALL students have the opportunity for a bright future

Please STOP cutting public education budgets in Arizona

School districts have made difficult decision during the past years.  These decisions resulted in closing schools, reducing employees, and cutting programs.  Replacing funding reductions has not happened and upcoming cuts will continue to impact our schools.  Also, legislative bills are currently being introduced and considered, that would further reduce funding in areas that provide direct support for students such as desegregation aid, transportation, and tax credit allocations.  These cuts will directly impact the education, health and safety of students.  Cuts will continue a trend of placing Arizona at the bottom in funding public education.  These proposals are not good for the students, parents, staff, and future of our state.

Our elected officials say that they care about our kids, the future of our state and having a strong viable economy, yet there continues to be detrimental cuts made to public education funding and legislation proposals that take away opportunities for all students to benefit from a strong public education system.  It's time to stand up for our students and ask our elected officials to invest in the future of our kids and state by investing in public education.

By adding your name to this petition you are sending a message to our elected officials that you expect them to use their position to support education.
