Dear Sir(s) and Ma'am,

I am writing this petition as I am a victim of loop holes in our justice system here in Arizona regarding orders of protections being served on people who have not done anything nor committed any infraction to warrant one. That there are no protocols nor safe guards in place to insure that those who genuinely need one are weeded out from those who simply want to use the system to their advantage. Worse yet an order of protection being served on someone by means of a third parties claim of an individual making a statement but not a statement that was made to the person seeking to request an order of protection. That there are no guidelines to which a judge follows by allowing one to be upheld rather it hinges from judge to judge, day to day. Due to this people who may genuinely need one could be denied and those who do not it could be granted. This creates additional hardships for those falsely accused of wrong doing up to imprisonment for something that was never truth from the start. Because of this loop hole innocent lives are destroyed and in some cases permanently so. In addition loss of gameful employment or diminished career opportunities for these individuals that otherwise would qualify due to the scrutiny and stigmatism associated with having one placed on an individual. That there is no other course of action one can take via a legal proceeding other than one hearing, and as such in my case, the judge upheld it based on no evidence which came as a result of hearsay with no proof. As for myself I've lost out on career opportunities due to stipulations with the order of protection which came about due to no fault of my own. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
