We are residents in the Foothills section of Yuma with desert all around us. Our physical safety and medical safety are at continued risk unless you support our Nation’s Constitutional Amendment, Article 1 Section 10 ,which recognizes the states’ sovereign power to defend themselves against invasion. The border crossings, as you know, are not just people asking for asylum but many are cartel-facilitated invasions. Section 4 Article 4 says the federal government shall protect each of the states’ from invasion. This is not happening. We expect you to support the residents of your state and this 100,000 community of Yuma and our Constitution by affirming Article 1 Section 10 immediately and sending resources and personnel to secure our border.

This is a Bi-Partisian issue and if you truly care about our community, our safety, our law enforcement and Border Patrol, and our property values you will get on board with this petition and demand that our Governor support this Nation’s Constitution.
