Save the Beauty of Ballymenoch Park

Ballymenoch Park is looking beautiful at the moment with long grass and wild flowers everywhere. This is about to end as the Council reintroduces a policy of 'closely mown grass'.

This is happening because one of Holywood's Councillors has brought a motion to the Council making Ballymenoch Park an exception to the 'rewilding' policy that applies throughout the borough. The grass is likely to be cut any day now and all the wonderful biodiversity will be destroyed.

If you, your dog or your children love our park in its more natural state, please sign this petition asking the Council to reverse the policy of 'closely mown grass'.
