NY state is relaxing mask mandates in our schools, but without protection our children are still at risk! Data is lacking in the amount of children effected by covid, but we do know that over 30% of children hospitalized with Covid19 (same as adults), have required ICU and 6% of those children have been put on vents. The risks for children with siblings under 2 or immunocompromised at any age are exorbitantly higher. Are we willing to risk our children falling into those unfortunate stats?

The Archdiocese of NY and Superintendent Deegan can still require masks for the protection of our most vulnerable, despite what occurs in public schools. Let Superintendent Deegan know we need our kids protected with maks until we have a better alternative.
