Remove Leadership for Learning from North Yorkshires GCSE

Leadership for Learning (L4L) is a lesson in the school curriculum in North Yorkshire, England.
It focuses on teaching kids in years 10-11 on how to be leaders, they will recieve a certificate at the end of the course to present on CV’s and such. Whilst this sounds all well and good in reality it is quite the oppisite; L4L replaces core PE every fortnight which means schools across North Yorkshire have less PE lessons than the reccomended amount (one every week). This is ludicrous considering the rising obesity rates in the UK - not just that but students could be using that time if not for L4L, to study for their actual GCSE’s. Not just a certificate that only 1 out of a million people will know of.
