St Mary's has served the community surrounding Ratho for over 150 years.

Ratho is a fairly isolated location where the transport is limited and while the village had doubled in size over the last 5 years with a population of over 2000 there is a greater need now more that ever to save our local church.

I would like to get sufficient support to go to Archbishop Leo Cushley to ask him to reverse his decision to close St Mary's

St Mary's has survived through two world wars many of the families in the village can relate to the building of the church and because of the close community spirit it has been a decision that many of the parishioner fail to understand.

it is very east to cut a tree down butt it will take many years for it to grow back. The same can be said for a building if it is closed then will it ever open or will there ever be another St Mary's
