We want Father Joe Cramer back!

On September 8th, 2017, the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas removed Father Joe Cramer and placed him on suspension, and then changed it to "leave of absence" due to improper use of funds of the parish. Yet, no one has established or reported ANYTHING to Father Joe Cramer or the public or the parish since the beginning of the "investigation". And we have had enough!
Here on Divine Mercy Sunday, we the past and present parish of Divine Mercy request MERCY for Father Joe Cramer. We want our priest back!
All day throughout the Archdiocese, we were preached to about how great God's mercy is and how his love overcomes all sins ever committed.
We say prove it!
Father Joe Cramer was and still is the one who brought many to church. Not because of his 5 line homilies, but because of the love he poured into the Mass, and into the community. He would work 5 Mass weekends to make sure that everyone had a chance to hear about Christ's love and forgiveness. He was a true embodiment of Christ's love and we want him back!
Whether he is re-instated, or if he chooses to retire, Father Joe Cramer has served the Catholic Church for 30 years and he deserves his FULL RETIREMENT BENEFITS upon retirement, along with our GRATITUDE for a job well done. If he stays, we want him back. If he goes, we will be sad, but we will be able to move on, and we want to be able to say goodbye and celebrate our time together.
We need this as a community to heal from the abrupt removal of our Father.
We love him dearly and we support Father Joe, as he has supported all of us.
Please give us back our Father! We beg you for mercy on this Divine Mercy Sunday!
