On the 17th of May 2018 at 9:00 am Year 11 studens across the country sat their GCSE TRIPLE CHEMISTRY paper 1 exam.  Gcse students are all working incredibly hard to do well in their exams and are all determined to succeed. We as gcse students use our specification as guidance on what to revise so we understand what questions AQA will test us on. On the AQA specification for exams 2016 onwards on page 18 it states: “details of Chadwick’s experimental work are NOT required.” However, in our exam we were given an unjustly question on what we were told wasn’t going to come up. Therefore we believe that as GCSE students, that are working to create our pathway for our dream futures, this question should be dis included in the total marks of the paper, we ask AQA to decrease the total of marks available from 100 to 97( the question was a 3 mark question). We hope that AQA will take this into consideration when creating grade boundaries for our Chemistry exams.

Thank you for your co- operation,

GCSEs students of the country.
