Appointment of Special Educator in Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district

My name is Mamuni Das and I am a resident of Bhadrak, Basudevpur. I am currently pursuing my post graduation in social Work from NISWASS college, Bhubaneshwar.

During last two years of lockdown, aIa teaching chikdren in my village. We have schools, colleges and all the neccessary education facilities available but what we lack here is the interest of students for learning. As the schools are now open, many children have lost interest in attending schools/college.

I am facing same issues in my own family. There are ten children in my joint family. I have tried my level best to convince them to study. Same case has also been going on in my neighbourhood. 

There are cases of early child marraiges in my village. Children are droped ouy od school and going for work  instead of getting educated.

Therefore it is my sincere request to the Education Ministry to appoint Special Educator or child counselor in our block to council parents and children to prevent child dropouts and early marriage issues in our block.
