Approximately 1.5 million people currently work for Apple’s supply chain, a large percent of these people live in different continents with different rules and regulations. Because of this many companies including Apple make factories and assembly lines in these countries to reduce the cost of labor and increase the time people will work knowing that people need these jobs to feed their families. These people often work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for pay of (in China) 10.13 Yuan, or 1.62 dollars an hour. This is something that needs to change.
