I wish most Christian schools will change their perspectives on lgbtqia+ people. Saying on behalf of god that we should stay as he made us and love only who is “right”, but I believe he is proud of letting us transition into the gender he wanted us to be and following our hearts with faith on our side when loving who we wish to be with. They say they will love us no matter what because we are his creations. If this was everyone’s perspective on lgbtqia+ this will impact me and many other people so positively because we will be able to feel safe in who god made us to be and who we wish to be and love. I want to feel safe around my family, friends, school and religion but without the support and love of others I have to hide who I am.
