Melissa Chanyarlak started this petition to Apple

U2 has hijacked my Apple Music. I am not a U2 fan. It was kind of them to offer the album for free when it was first released, but I did not consent to it being on my phone. If this was in the small print agreement to use an Apple phone, it is morally questionable. This album now takes up space that I would never have agreed to give up. The worst part is that I can delete it, but with every iOS update, the album comes back.

This album is like a virus on my phone. I keep my music on shuffle as I should be allowed to enjoy the music I have personally curated without getting constantly interrupted by U2. I have searched and searched for a way to permanently remove this virus from my phone, but to no avail. Downloading this album should have been a choice for each iOS user. It should never have been forced upon our ears.

I have given up deleting the album every time it comes back. I want this album gone for good. I want every iOS user to have the choice to either keep the album or get permanently rid of it from our music with ease. Free us from this audible Hell! Liberate my music!

To be clear, this is what I want: I want Apple to include a way for users to delete the album on their own if they so choose on a future update instead of having to contact Apple Support to do it for you like it is currently.
