Ever since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015, the watch has had a feature called power reserve mode. This mode allows users to continue to see the time when the watch's battery is low. Well, it allows most users to do this. Blind or visually impaired users who use voiceover can't use this. Why? Apple didn't include voiceover as a part of power reserve mode. This puts voiceover users in a bad position. The Apple Watch automatically enters power reserve mode when the watch's battery life is near zero. If we miss the 10% battery warning, and our watches enter power reserve mode automatically, we may think our watch is broken. This is not fair to us and should be fixed. Apple, please bring voiceover functionality to power reserve mode. This could be accomplished by a software update. If you truly value accessibility, do this for us.
