I bought the 2017 MacBook Pro and I knew the keyboard wasn't great, and they supposedly refreshed the keyboard in 2018 so I traded in my first one and lost a lot of money selling it for cheap to buy a new one. Just to have the same problem on the second one.

I work for national cybersecurity, yet Apple refuses to replace my faulty Macbook Pro. I have not legal authority to hand my Macbook over to another person without breaching national security. Apple prefers me to buy another brand new Mac and trust them that i wont have to buy another one yet again for the exact same problem. Clearly Apple's management is more interested in cheap slave labor from China, producing faulty products, and taking away jobs from Americans with one of the best American companies ever founded.

My Macbook Pro 2017 was wrong from the day I purchased it. Within a week, it had to be returned for repair because of overheating. I waited a month to get that resolved and have the laptopreturned to me. Within a year, two of the letter keys had started sticking,followed by the Enter key. Shortly after, those keys broke and now sit loosely in place on the keyboard, sliding around, with me doing my best not tolose them. Next,the space bar. Continually sticking. Typing takes somuch longer than usual, having to goback to fix spacing between words. This means hittingthe key harder,which means it will inevitably go next. I'd had a great experience with my previous MacbookPro, purchased in 2011. Regret every minute having replaced it with this one. Theworst part is how Apple can justify the costof these machines. You pay a premium price expecting a premium product. If they care at all about customer loyalty to their brand, theyneed to recall these defective machines for customers right around the world. In my case, I won't be purchasing an Appleproduct again. Limping along withthis machine for as long as I can bear the keyboard, and replacing with Samsung laptop of a similar spec.
