Huge number of Armenian people need Apple Pay to become officially available locally.

Armenian people, especially youth and middle-age category people (18-55 years old) are very easy-learning and tend to new technologies, so we are waiting for Apple Pay mobile payment system for a long time.
Especially when almost all CIS countries already have this technology for a couple of years, we are more eager to have it as soon as possible.

People started to use their credit/debit cards more often, after the NFC technology cards have arrived and now it's time for mobile NFC payment systems. This will lead to more non-cash, more convenient and more secure payments.Apple Pay will also help with problem of keeping 3-4 different bank card in a pocket, which zeroes the risk of loosing cards.

Card payment have been grown even more after the governmental law, which forced local companies to pay salaries via the bank transfers (instead of previous cash system), but still many people cash-out their salaries and use cash-payments, because their don't use to keep their cards with them, but mobile NFC payments can change this culture, because, despite of bank cards, people always have their phones with them.

Most of the shops, cafes, markets and other businesses are using NFC-capable payment terminals, also there are many ATM machines with NFC and all these terminals and ATMs are working with Apple Pay technology for tourists and other countries bank cards, but we need Apple Pay to work with Armenian banks cards also.
