The owners of businesses along the Danforth were not informed of the elimination of 150 public parking spaces. They are not in agreement.

When is a democracy not a democracy?

Yesterday I emailed every City councillor and requested they sign the petition and Vote No to Bill 1166. Not feeling any love from City Hall. 

In this article, Toronto Star Politics Reporter David Rider, reported Tribute Communities Held a Campaign Event for Brad Bradford requesting invitees contribute between $1100 and $2500. 

Analysis of the public record of his 2023 Mayoral Election campaign contributions shows:

194  (69%) Real Estate affiliated donations between $1100 and $2500 to donations totaling to $408,450 (68%)

 86 (31%)  Constituent and non-Real Estate affiliated donations between $1100 and $2500 totaling $193,250 (32%)

Democracy is in question when corporations use campaign contributions to  influence politicians.
