The Regional Director, Africa Support Center and The Chairperson, Africa Scout Committee,

This letter is in reference to your letter titled Re: Dire Situation of The Scout Association of Nigeria with reference number ASC/TSAN-20170405 dated 5th April 2017 for settlement of our crisis in scouting way or both leadership steps aside for fresh leadership.

Please accept this letter or medium from concerned Scouters and elders in the scout association of Nigeria under the umbrella of Elders Council For Peace as a request for a time extension to complete our peace process resolution and settle our differences among ourselves in scouting way.

We are aware that we have till ending of May 2017 to end our issues and today is 18th May, 2017 but we are appealing for an extension of time to complete our peace process because we don't have too much time to complete the process before the deadlines.

This is an important decision, and we are working toward finding a solution to our issues in our local and scouting way, all hands are on desk including the youth.

An extension of up to one to two months is being invoked in order to ensure the orderly processing of your request and our process. This extension is necessary due to the fact that we are proposing that the peace process will be ended in an AGM.

We hereby append our signatures to appeal to your esteemed offices (ASC and ARD) to give us this opportunity.

We plan to respond to you once we complete our peace process and peace is reinstated in the NSO.

Please sign our petition and encourage your friends on social media to get involved. I can be reached at .

Thank you for considering our request.

Yours Sincerely,

Elders Council For Peace
