Christopher Gregory started this petition to Apopka High School and

As of now, Seniors of Apopka High School are able to paint their parking spots for the low low price of $80!! On top of being ridiculously expensive, you're restricted to using exactly four colors: black, white, silver (essentially gray) and blue. This is to maintain "school spirit" but what it does in the end is stifle students' creativity and makes it all look uniform and boring. Let's change that.

Sign this petition and get it delivered straight to Principal Lyle Heinz. Let us use whatever color we want! If we want to, we'll use the school colors! As it is now, elaborate designs are very difficult with the limited palette. Parking spots would look so much more unique, diverse, and vibrant with unrestricted color. Not to mention, more students might participate, which would bring in more money to the school. My sister, who is a Freshman, expressed disappointment at the restriction of color, and said she would buy one her senior year if they change it to allow for all colors. She can't be the only one.

If you want a parking spot in full color, now's your chance. Sign this petition, and let's tell Mr. Heinz, loud and clear, that we want colorfully painted parking spots, and that we want to stand out!
