Newly graduate nurses in Australia who came from a non English speaking country as their first language has to take an English Competency to apply for registration.

We have already taken an English and Maths test prior to enrolling and we are capable enough to understand and work in the healtcare sector. Some of us, are already Australian citizens and been working in the healthcare for many years.
