Why this petition matters

Many people have woken this morning to find ANZ hasn't processed their payments/deposits and ANZ can't provide a clear reason as to why or even offer help to remedy those in extreme financial hardship - even though this is due to their stuff up and negligence. Some are being told its the "payees" fault, others are being told to simply wait. No doubt the issue will be fixed and swept under the rug. 

WE WILL NOT BE HAVING IT! 

Remember the time another particular big bank had a stuff up and reimbursed customers $50 just for the inconvenience? Why can't we expect the same over this issue? Considering many of us will have fees added on top of the regular debits that will now "bounce back" I think its only fair.
