I am afro Colombian , i live in the united states now , but my family are still there , due to the epidemic people are only able to go out once a week to do groceries shopping etc , people can’t work , or be out whatsoever , right now after a protest regarding this , the government has shot people , bombarded houses , killed 19 people and many are injured, the government shut down the internet city wise so the truth won’t come out , please just reposting or bringing awareness to this situation helps , it’s been happening for years and all we get out of it , it’s movies made of , and thinking it’s a joke ; this is real life , this is our family and our country and it’s my nation , it’s sad that we don’t even see these things in tv , our government is extremely corrupted, when i was 3 years old was when i left Colombia do to the FARC , we were bombed and they made us leave because of money that was owed by my grandfather, we were in newspaper and i was only 3 years old , Colombia has always and still is full of corruption and violence, our police and army are not protecting our country !! please bring awareness to this situation, it’s innocent people dying , kids dying , people starving , losing their houses , we are humans ! we are not just puppets that have to stay quiet and do whatever the government tells us to , i would appreciate anything , a repost , money for those people who are starving , my family and our country .
