This is only a weeks worth of assignments that must be done in the WCI class. With many of these assignments taking over 30 minutes to complete, it is quick and easy for students to begin feeling overwhelmed. Students have many more classes to focus on however with a workload this heavy, it is challenging for students to keep up. With a majority being non-English majors this class is very tedious because they have major related classes that should be heavily focused on such as chemistry, biology, physics, etc. I am confident that I can speak for many students when I say that the workload should be lightened and be a little more manageable in order for students to provide higher quality work not only for this class, but for the rest of their classes.
