Most migrant workers are here in Singapore to help build stuff. They help build the buildings that we are living in. Despite that, they are shunned and insulted for no reason.

  Since most migrant workers are Indians and Malays, people are racist. But the reality is that they are the same as us. We should give them more respect and kindness. Talk to them or give them something to drink or eat if u see them around.

  Most migrant workers come here because they cannot find jobs in their homelands. They come here to work. They leave their families behind to help them. But they work long hours and get paid very little.

  During this covid-19 period, the migrant workers' freedom have been taken away. They are to stay in their dormitories before their ART  or PCR results are known. The living conditions in the dormitories are also very poor. They have to wear masks in the dormitories too.

  We should treat migrant workers as we treat others. They are the same as us but do harder stuff. No matter how bad your worst day is, don't compare it to a migrant worker's one.
