It began when Fabric of Life, a group of students and their lecturer, dreamed up the idea of a massive collaboration of school staff and students, current and alumni. They would perform "River Song" by a local punk rock band Plainsunset, a song written about the Singapore River. But this isn’t the official 2019 National Day song.
