Eagle hour was a time during lunch between 4th and 5th period in which each and every student, for an entire hour could be wherever they wanted on campus to study, eat lunch, get tutoring and so, so much more. This was the pride and joy of our great school, all until it was torn and pried out of our fingers. Tears were shed, grief was felt, we miss pizza at lunch, and WE MISS PRINCIPLE THORNE! For those of you who never had the pleasure to meet him, god rest your soul. THEY EVEN TOOK AWAY THE EAGLE. We DEMAND action, we DEMAND change.

We, the students of Eastside High School, previously known as "the greatest high school on earth" or something like that, WANT EAGLE HOUR BACK!

Mighty eagles soar together, proudly wear the blue and gold. Strive for human understanding, pride and learning are our goals. Clasp your hands in total friendship, join your hearts in brotherhood; work to see your goals accomplished, reaching up for truth and good. Tho the time is swiftly passing, time for farewells soon must be; we can keep you -EASTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL- dearly held in memory!

Students of Eastside high school, keep your heads up, even while navigating through these horrendous acts of treachery.  Let us come together as one body and make ourselves known!
