Being sober, getting right, staying clean, cutting out, what ever you want to call it, is not something you learn how to do behind the Walls of prison. If somebody is showing repetitive signs of drug use and toxic lifestyles, then sending them to prison is doing nothing but ensuring that the people who sent him there are going to have jobs when he gets out. Not but 15% of inmates in prison ever received treatment for their drug-related problems. Please help me not depict the future of Jamie Erickson by sending him to prison and agree with me that Jamie is never going to learn the healthy tools that he needs to have a functioning normal sober clean life if he sent back to prison. I feel like the more people that help stand behind this will show that that many people care about him. And if there's that many people that care about him then maybe it would make a difference in the eyes of the courts and probation to help him get a program.
