Due to the closure of the US Embassies in Turkey and Dubai, Iranian students have been waiting for a simple visa interview for more than a year. Nevertheless, the only embassy that Iranian students can refer to is the US Embassy in Armenia. Yet, they have encountered numerous problems, the most important of which is that although they have paid the MRV fee for the US Embassy in Yerevan, they have not been able to book an appointment. Not only this, a number of students have requested an expedited appointment, which has been approved by the embassy for more than a month, but no new appointment has been arranged for them.

It should be noted that they do not have the option to join online classes and begin their semester remotely, based on the fact that since last year, many students have been forced to defer their admissions, and they no longer have the privilege to defer. Consequently, the failure to attend an interview will nullify their admissions, for which they have dedicated all their time and efforts.

Please help Iranian Students by granting more F1 and F2 Visa interviews or holding them an online visa interview before the Fall 2021 semesters begin so that they can attend their programs on time.
