There is an increase in the number of unaccompanied children who are running for safety, looking for for better opportunities, running from desertification....They are perpetually faced with serious barriers which include language barrier,  lack of information, exploitation , neglect and many more.

Many of these children stop going to school. This trend is going to continue to and fro, that is why measures to mitigate likely hardship to be experienced by affected children are very necessary to avoid having emergencies.

Many countries have no child protection policy and where they do it does not capture migrants children who invariably deserve equal protection as other children.
