We stopped contributing to Wounded Warriors after learning of misdirected funds. We (as others) were extremely disappointed and hope the near future brings positive changes. We just received a letter and contribution request in the mail today, but we do not feel we can support this organization until we can be sure integrity and full support to our wounded men and women has been restored.

Mr. Melia had a goal and reached out with resounding love for his country and his fellow warriors who have fought hard and given up life and limb in order to ensure the safety of the citizens of this great country, and he should be allowed to set his plan back on track and see it to fruition.

I have known John since he first entered the Veterans Service Organization arena with DAV. I lived and was taught beside him for six months in the DAV Acadamy Class 5 and knew right then that John was going to do great things for Veterans.

With the recent firing of WWP's CEO and COO, I am withholding all further donations to WWP until I see that a reputable leadership is put in place that will restore WWP's reputation.

I am so very disappointed to have heard that the CEO and others have taken advantage of the incredible generosity form Americans that have donated their hard earned money to these corrupt individuals who have used the monies that were meant to go to help our wounded Veterans. Please turn this wonderful group around to again restore lives of those who have sacrificed the most for our country. My husband and I have been donating every month for a few years and want our money to go to a good cause. We are behind John Melia's leadership.

I myself am a Wounded Warrior who battles every day to get to the next. It's disgusting the way these clowns party at our expense. Good luck with your future jobs 15$ a hour. Put the Boss back in charge..
