Unfair practices towards Deaf and Hard of Hearing People

Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center REFUSES to allow a DEAF/HARD of HEARING (HOH) person to use or have live interpreters even when they ask for it.  This means they will not pay an interpreter service to come in so a DEAF/HOH person can clearly understand what services/care Doctors and Nurses are doing. DEAF/HOH need these to be explained clearly and only way is with a live interpreter.  We DEAF/HOH feel this is clearly in violation of our ADA Rights.  We as a DEAF community need this to be changed and implemented so DEAF/HOH get same care others.
