Our primary schools in the western suburbs of Ballarat are becoming overcrowded. Housing is expanding at a phenomenal rate particularly in Winter Valley, Delacombe and out past DTC. Families are growing, with more and more people choosing Ballarat to raise their children. Our primary schools are taking in record numbers of children year after year, adding more portables and losing valuable education spaces such as libraries and LOTE rooms to make way for more classroom space. 
With the area expanding so rapidly there are still no plans for a new primary school. How much more of their limited play space do our children have to lose to more portables?
